About The M General Construction
Construction is personal. So is the way we work.
We are a veteran-owned construction business based in Compton and serving Southern California. We work with homeowners and business owners on remodeling, additions, roofing, new construction, ADUs, and commercial spaces.
Every project begins with a need: more room, a roof that needs attention, a space that works better, or a new place to call home. Our first job is to understand what matters to you.
How we approach the work
Good work starts with a good conversation.
This website brings together two separate businesses under the same ownership: The M General Construction (CSLB License #1055278) and The M General Roofing Company (CSLB License #1150621). Both companies use the same phone number and email. Construction services are provided through The M General Construction, while the dedicated roofing company is your point of contact for roofing projects.
Construction changes the spaces people rely on every day. Before talking about the finish, we want to hear how you use the space now, what you would like to change, and what you already know about the property. Those details help turn an idea into a project scope you can actually discuss.
Different jobs call for different questions. A roof leak may have more than one source. An addition needs to connect with the home that is already there. A new build starts with the property, the plans, and your priorities. Taking time to understand those things early can lead to clearer decisions about what comes next.
Our goal is straightforward: communicate clearly, treat your project with care, and keep the work focused on the result you want to achieve. Whether you are just exploring an idea or already have drawings, we are ready to hear about it.
Veteran-owned business
Built with purpose.
Being veteran-owned is part of who we are. For us, the work is also about the people who will live, gather, and work in the spaces we build. We want you to feel heard when you explain your goals and informed as you consider the next step.
What we do
From one room to a new beginning.
Our services cover both updates to existing properties and new spaces. Explore the work you have in mind, then get in touch to talk about your project.
Let's talk about your project.
Tell us what you want to build, repair, or change, and where the project is located. Se habla español.
